The Team at Elfa are pleased to announce Mapex has been awarded the highly regarded MIPA (Musikmesse International Press Award) award at this years Frankfurt MusikMesse held last month, for best Drum Kit!

At the annual MusikMesse convention in Frankfurt, Germany, the Mapex Meridian Maple won the MIPA award for Best Drum Kit.

MIPA (Musikmesse International Press Award) is a press organization comprised of over 112 magazines from all over the world which voted for the best products of 2008/2009 in about 40 categories.

The awards has been presented to the winners at a special MIPA-Party/Awards-Ceremony held during MusikMesse / Prolight + Sound (Germany, frankfurt), on Thursday, 2nd of April. 2009.

And the first nominee in drums category is The Mapex Meridian Maple which won the MIPA award for the best acoustic drum 2008/2009!

The MIPA judges were particularly impressed with the quality, value and sonic performance of new the Mapex Meridian Maple series!
